We decided to respond with providing roofs, relief material and grocery to the affected population.
More than 100 families were helped with groceries.
Medical camp for Chakma Tribe – December 2021
A group of 1000 families were displaced from their forest dwelling and sent to Hojai District of Assam. This was an unplanned displacement and displaced population faced many adversities. There was no availability of water and livelihood nearby. The families were living in make shift plastic shelters. We provided relief material and grocery to the affected Chakma families. We also helped the children with books, paints to engage themselves in this situation.
We provided sanitary pads to all females in the settlement.
We could organise a medical camp to take care of their medical issues, examine pregnant women and small children and also keep some depot of medicines and first aid for the settlement.

We decided to respond by sending relief material, tarpaulins and grocery to around 400 families in 24 Paraganas. Our Friends also conducted medical relief camp for the affected population.
